Our array of microphones include various Neumans, including an M149 commentary microphone for VOs, and Schoeps CMIT and Sennheiser MKH 60 gun mics with Sanken Cos 11 and DPA 4060 Lav mics for ADR.

All our studios are equipped with Source Connect Pro to record from locations across the world. Source Connect allows us to run the session to picture so that ADR sessions & voice records take place as though they were in the same studio.

​

We can also connect remote clients up with direct feeds from the desks and programme material in vision using any of the current video conferencing software such as Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Source Connect Now or Cleanfeed.

​

We use Sounds In Sync software (EdiCue + EdiPrompt) for our ADR sessions to provide maximum flexibilty and to get the most out of acting talent, and we can record on our ADR stage (pictures followig soon) or in our spacious booth - quite honestly the best booth in Bristol!

​

Audio Book clients include Penguin Random House, DK Books, Brilliance Publishing, WF Howes, Hodder, Hachette, Bolinda and Canongate.

COVID-19 SAFE FACILITIES APPROVED BY THE SCREEN ACTORS GUILD

Our purpose built facilities are approved by the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) for safe ADR and Voice Over recording:

Audio Uproar has represented to SAG-AFTRA in discussions and in writing that it has made provision for and met adequate health and safety standards, consistent with the local, state and federal guidance regarding social distancing, essential business closures, and shelter in place orders, and will be in compliance with those orders and the safety standards and protocols promulgated by SAG-AFTRA for any and all SAG-AFTRA productions.

Audio Uproar has recently passed the newly updated Covid-19 Guidance in line with SAG-AFTRA COVID-19 Protocols for Individual Voiceover Recording (SAG-AFTRA will now require adherence to the zone/testing processes introduced in the Industry White Paper and Safe Way Forward documents, agreed by entertainment unions and AMPTP, in the Return to Work Agreement).

 

 

Rest assured that  Audio Uproar  continues to meet the highest possible safety standards.

Our spacious facilities provide the ideal environment for safe operation and our protocols mean that production staff and talent can work in the knowledge that all precautions have been taken to keep them risk free.

​

Our practices include sanitising all areas prior to and after bookings, strict social distancing and mask wearing for all staff, clients and talent, and sanitising stations in all areas. There are also separate entrances and bathroom facilities for staff and clients.

​

There is a four hour buffer between any bookings to allow for cleaning and air change.

​

Since lockdown we have completed safe recordings with Richard E Grant, Jason Watkins, Ashley Jensen, Shakira, Jamie Dornan, Ed Speleers, The Stig, Toyah Wilcox, Susan Lynch, Kate Humble and many others.
